A picture of your children on a mug makes a great present for grannies, grandfathers, uncles and aunts. For the best results when you create your own mug make sure the children are close together in the picture and cut out a lot of the uninteresting background.
Best Photo
Add your favourite picture to a mug and it will be there to greet you every morning when you have your first cuppa. Perhaps it is a picture of your garden in summer, a lovely sunset, or the bluebells in May.
Travel
Holidays are so fleeting, they go much faster than working weeks. Pick the most memorable picture from the whole holiday and use it to design your own mug. It will help the memories of the holiday last a lot longer than the holiday itself!
Love
It’s what makes the World go round and there are lots of ways to show it using customised mugs. You can do it through text – perhaps you and your loved one have a particular phrase you use or pet names – ‘Flumpkin love Twinkle Toes’. You could have an image that means something to you, maybe the place you first met, the location of your proposal, or one of your favourite spots.
Funny
Funny cups are very tricky to pull off as you see them every day. My wife’s cup says ‘The Boss’ and it’s funny because it’s true! If you put a scan of a saucy postcard or a cartoon on your mug remember it might not be funny the hundredth time you see it.
